The Big Thompson Watershed Coalition and design team will host a meeting for the residents of Waltonia, Mountain Shadows, and West Drake areas of the Big Thompson Canyon to share project designs and discuss construction.
When: Wednesday, June 14th, 10:00 – 11:30 am
Where: Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Residency Building, 2207 Highway 402, Loveland
Meeting Format:

The Coalition and project design team will give a presentation of the project design and timeline for project construction for river restoration through these areas. The meeting will include and overview presentation, a question and answer period, and break-out groups to review designs of the specific individual project areas.

The project design is based on feedback from landowners and stakeholders and includes specific design elements developed by the Coalition’s design team. The goal of this design is to improve resiliency and river function and restore aquatic and riparian habitat along the river. Representatives from the Coalition, the design team, and CDOT will be available for discussion with property owners.
